All RIVERET products are made from natural Moso bamboo. Moso bamboo is a natural resource that can be used repeatedly with minimal land use, and is an effective way to utilize resources and curb deforestation, which is one of the causes of environmental problems. "Living with nature" is a tangible message to the next generation conveyed through the craftsmanship of our artisans.

Design

The design aims to convey the beauty of natural materials and the outstanding craftsmanship of artisans in a deeper and clearer way. With carefully designed curves that fit comfortably in the hand and a natural texture that brings out the best in the ingredients served, we propose unprecedented natural tableware that goes beyond design alone and can be used daily in a variety of situations.

Craft

Bamboo is more than twice as strong as regular wood, so it was often avoided for delicate carving. RIVERET began research and development in 1988, and reviewed everything from bamboo cultivation to sawing and processing techniques from scratch, and through a process of trial and error, it became possible to create the beautiful lines and delicate forms we have today.
