Solar power generation has been introduced at the Koshigaya Factory in Saitama Prefecture.

埼玉県越谷工場にて太陽光発電が導入されました。

The installation of solar power generation has been completed at the Koshigaya Factory in Saitama Prefecture, where taffeta is manufactured.

Installed solar power capacity: 50kw

Annual predicted power generation: 48,473kw

Estimated CO2 reduction effect by introducing solar power generation

The solar power generation system being introduced at the Koshigaya Plant is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by 24.9 tons (24,900 kg) per year.
*It is expected that the CO2 reduction effect will be equivalent to the CO2 absorbed by approximately 2,800 cedar trees in one year.

Factory Scene 1

The solar power generation system installed at the Koshigaya Factory will not be sold, but will be entirely for self-consumption.
In the future, we aim to introduce storage batteries and create an off-grid factory that runs on renewable energy.

The future we aim for

As a company that handles natural materials, we feel it is our responsibility to create products that are environmentally friendly and to contribute to the development of a sustainable society.

We must also take into consideration life cycle assessment, including the CO2 emissions during solar panel manufacturing. We will use them for a long time, carefully maintaining them, so that they can operate for decades to come.

Towards a sustainable society

Nakayoshi Shoji Group will use the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as an important indicator in its manufacturing and corporate activities.
