Exhibiting at the 10th International Table & Kitchenware EXPO!

The 10th International Table & Kitchenware EXPO [Summer] was held at Tokyo Big Sight from June 26 to June 28, 2019. We will introduce what kind of exhibition this is.
What is the International Table & Kitchenware Expo Exhibition?
The International Table & Kitchenware Expo is a trade fair where various types of table and kitchenware, including ceramics, kitchen appliances, and cutlery, are gathered together under one roof.
Manufacturers and wholesalers from major production areas around the country, including Arita, Mino, Hasami, and Tsubame-Sanjo, as well as from countries around the world, are exhibiting at the event.
This exhibition has been held simultaneously with the International General Goods Expo since 2011, reflecting the desire of companies to "develop new sales channels in addition to existing distribution channels." Buyers from all over the country visit the fair, where they can ask questions, purchase products, and make purchases directly while touching the products.
There are also group exhibits and pavilion exhibits by associations and local governments from each production area.
Many people visited the RIVERET booth
At the RIVERET booth, the brand's main products, including wine glasses, were exhibited. The display fixtures to display the products were also designed and manufactured in-house. The decorative shelves, which at first glance appear to be made of concrete, are recreated by painting the wood. The cut letters were also created using the company's own laser equipment.
So many buyers from department stores and select shops visited the RIVERET booth that all the prepared catalogs were sold out.
Our proud bamboo wine glasses on display

The booth displayed new wine glasses, including cocktail glasses for Manhattans, Gimlets, etc.
Also on display was "Brunello di Montalcino" from Castiglion del Bosco of Italy, and "Monfort" sparkling wine.
Glasses for enjoying wine at home

RIVERET sells a variety of glasses for enjoying wine.
At the exhibition, we displayed existing products such as wine vessels and Burgundy wines as well as our new product, wine glasses.
RIVERET glasses are made from bamboo, a natural material. They are characterized by their low thermal conductivity, which keeps the temperature of the glass itself stable. Wine is less affected by the outside temperature, allowing you to enjoy the original flavor of the wine.
Another feature of bamboo vessels is that they are pleasant to the touch. Natural materials give a soft impression and are less susceptible to extreme cold or heat. Thanks to the techniques unique to RIVERET's craftsmen, the vessels are shaped to a minimum thickness of just 2 mm, so they do not feel bulky or heavy.
New products are scheduled to debut towards the end of the year.
New sister brand taffeta also announced!

The exhibition also saw the debut of a new sister brand, taffeta.
Taffeta uses rubberwood and hard maple wood and has a concept of natural basics, with products designed for everyday use. Another appeal is that the price range is kept a little low, making it easy to collect the whole series.
Like RIVERET, taffeta brand products are LOHAS coated and are dishwasher safe. They are also coated with six layers of a unique painting technique, which helps prevent stains from dark-colored or oily dishes.
Sales will begin in autumn and winter

Taffeta is scheduled to go on sale from autumn to winter 2019. It can be purchased from the online shop, so you can easily purchase it not only for your own home but also as a gift.
