We will be introducing solar power generation at our Koshigaya factory in Saitama Prefecture where Agny is manufactured.
Planned solar power capacity: 50kw
Annual predicted power generation: 48,473kw
Scheduled start of operation: August 2020
Estimated CO2 reduction effect by introducing solar power generation
The solar power generation system being introduced at the Koshigaya Plant is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by 24.9 tons (24,900 kg) per year.
*It is expected that the CO2 reduction effect will be equivalent to the CO2 absorbed by approximately 2,800 cedar trees in one year.

The solar power generation system installed at the Koshigaya Factory will be entirely self-consumed and will not be sold. In the future, the factory aims to become an off-grid factory that operates using renewable energy by installing storage batteries.
As a company that handles natural materials, we feel it is our responsibility to work toward environmentally friendly manufacturing and the development of a sustainable society.
We are also taking into consideration life cycle assessment, including the CO2 emissions during the manufacturing of solar panels, and intend to use them for a long time, with careful maintenance, so that they can operate for decades to come.

Nakayoshi Shoji Group supports the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations in 2015, and will use these as important indicators in its manufacturing and corporate activities.
